At Ararat West Primary School, we hold a biannual whole-school production. This provides students the opportunity to create, rehearse and perform a range of items that follow a main storyline. This performing arts spectacular also offers a chance for our Grade 5 & 6 students to audition and take on lead and minor roles within the production that is held at the Ararat Town Hall. The production enables students to develop their creative and expressive capacities by learning about the different performing arts practices and disciplines whilst they create, perform and inspire our audience. Student develop their confidence, self-esteem and teamwork skills, all whilst having fun with their peers.

Past performances include ‘West Awards’, ‘The Gundaloo from Green Hill Creek’, ‘Vot is the Problem!’ and ‘Pirates of the Pyrenees’, just to name a few.
