Ararat West Primary School has a long-standing skipping program. Senior students try out, and a Skipping Team is selected. This team practices their skills during recess and lunch, learning routines, and developing their fitness. Towards the end of the year, the team travels to local schools to show off their routines and skills, inspiring other studenets to take up skipping.
